Projet Mme Diallo Mamelle
The Mme Diallo Mamelle project is a contemporary residential development located in the Mamelles district of Dakar. The design combines modern architectural principles with subtle references to retro aesthetics, creating a distinctive and elegant residential environment.
The project focuses on creating comfortable and functional living spaces while maintaining a strong architectural identity. Generous openings, carefully framed views, warm materials, landscaped areas, and refined lighting contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that balances privacy with openness.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The concept, “Retro with Modern,” explores the balance between timeless architectural references and contemporary living. The design reinterprets elements inspired by retro architecture through clean volumes, geometric compositions, warm textures, and modern detailing.
The façade combines strong architectural lines with softer natural elements, creating a refined contrast between solidity and warmth. Large openings bring natural light deep into the interiors while connecting the living spaces with the surrounding landscape.
The project aims to create a residential architecture that feels both familiar and contemporary — rooted in the character of the Mamelles while embracing a modern lifestyle. The result is a timeless and sophisticated home where retro influences are expressed through a distinctly contemporary architectural language.
